Friday 29 March 2024I feel like I got swindled out of 50 quid for something that other Chippers in Naas do a thousand times better for half the price.
The fish was tasteless, the batter was completely overcooked and soggy on the inside, the tartare sauce might as well have been poured from a Colmans jar bought in SuperValu and the chips were flavourless and without salt or vinegar.
The onion rings were also chewy and the batter overdone.
I splurged on Leo Burdocks, Naas a few years back when it first opened and had a poor experience, but said I would give it a second chance.
It was a huge mistake and we ended up basically throwing the entire dinner in the bin.
Would have taken a disappointing experience on the chin (albeit a second time) except for the fact that the price of it was absolutely extortionate.
Feel completely swindled. Made a huge error in judgement moving away from my usual spot.
