A little bit about us
Elephant & Castle, named after the London hub, opened in New York City in 1973. It was soon a favourite among New Yorkers and visitors alike, with a menu whose dishes soon appeared throughout lower Manhattan restaurants – imitation is the best form of flattery after all! It led us to adopt a motto at the time of “Copied by many, excelled by none”.
Elephant & Castle, as an Irish brand, has been a foodie monument in Temple Bar for the past 30 years. We now have 4 amazing locations under our wing – Temple Bar, Rathmines, Monkstown and most recently Beacon South Quarter in October 2019
Our aim is, and always has been, to produce consistently delicious food, in a buzzy familiar atmosphere that our loyal customers know and love.
