This is a fantastic Indian restaurant located at 1/2 Emmet Place, right opposite the Opera House. Some of the most popular dishes include naan, pilau rice and the eastern delight appetisers. They also have some great deals! For example, if you spend over €35 on orders through Just Eat, you get 2 free bottles of Indian lager to wash it all down. If you spend over €50, you get a free bottle of Chilean wine! With such great deals and cuisine, you’re bound to fall in love with Eastern Tandoori.
ROOSTER PIL PIL
This great place has been around since 2013. With a combination of South African and Portuguese herbs in their signature Pil Pil dish, this is one eatery which will leave your taste buds excited for new flavours. Most of their meals range between the €7 and €16 price range, so they’re pretty friendly on your pocket as well. Rooster Pi Pi deliver throughout Cork as well as Douglas and Ballincollig.
WHITE RABBIT BBQ
Situated on number 56 McCurtain Street, White Rabbit BBQ has some of the best pork bellies in town! They also have an extensive range of incredible Irish craft beers, bourbon and American whiskies too, meaning their selection of drinks is as good as their food. They deliver to a large selection of areas which you’ll find listed on their page. Try them, you won’t regret it!
The magic of Nepal has arrived, and it’s only an order away. Have you ever wondered what those ass-kicking monks from your favourite movies eat when they’re enjoying their down time? Well, it’s a bit of a cross between Chinese food and Indian food (read Nepalese). Biryani, Chow Mein, and Bheda Ko Jihr are some of the exciting choices available on the Thali restaurant menu.
The iconic Wagamama serves Japanese food that will make you want to go straight to Tokyo! Next time you’re craving a Far East flavour experience get a Wagamama meal delivered and you will definitely end up coming back for more (or rather, they’ll come back to you since they deliver!). Simply go over to the Wagamama page and pick out your heart’s desires (or rather, your belly’s desires!) and have them delivered to you in record time!
One of Asia’s finest restaurants in Cork is Flame Asian, located at 38 Washington Street. With these guys, the proof is really in the curry. They have a great line up of meals including the Cantonese Style Black Bean and the Duck Hoi Sin (which, rather appropriately, translates to fantastic duck!). Most of the full meals available at Flame Asian are under €13, but taste like they should cost a whole lot more!
Situated on the aptly named Cook Street, Bombay Palace has a wide range of Indian delicacies both old and new. Indian people like to call the old food Bombay Cuisine, and the new dishes Mumbai Cuisine (no one ever gets this joke but Indians). Their Lamb Bhuna is delicious, as well as their Prawn Dil Ruba. Again, Bombay Palace’s menu is easy on the pocket and extremely convenient now with Just Eat delivery.
If you’re looking for a good and healthy restaurant right on Paul Street, then look no further than Hey Presto! It has loads of pasta; Wholemeal pasta. Pasta with sauce. Pasta with basil. Pasta with pasta. It’s a pasta lover’s heaven! They also have great salads that will make you feel wholesome and healthy. All served on a bed of mixed seasonal leaves. Yum!
SULTAN CAFÉ RESTAURANT AND SHISHA LOUNGE
Sultan is a great Lebanese restaurant on Penrose Wharf with some of the best shawarmas you’ll ever introduce your mouth to. They’ve got great Shisha too, if you’re into that kind of thing. This is one of the most in demand Lebanese restaurants on Just Eat delivering in Cork and its environs! Long live the benevolent Sultan!
AMIGOS BURRITO BAR
Amigos Burritos Bar is yet another fantastic place on Washington Street! Are you up for some spicy Mexican food? Then you’ll love Amigos! They’ve got all the burritos and tacos you could want, and they’ve also got a range of healthy alternatives if you’d prefer that. It’s a win-win for everybody! You can order from Amigos Burrito Bar’s wide selection with no minimum order required for delivery and fifteen minutes’ delivery guaranteed – now that’s fast food!
No, the owner isn’t called Pete. He’s actually called Aaron, but he chose to name his restaurant after his uncle from California. Started as a unique pizzeria, Uncle Pete’s has grown over the years into two separate restaurants; one in Pope’s Quay and the other on St. Paul’s Street. We have one thing to say that the two of them can boast: Best. Italian. Food. By. A. Non-Italian. Ever.
THE MEATBALL PLACE
It’s the invasion of the Italians, with the last, but certainly not least, new restaurant on our list: The Meatball Place. 8-9 Careys Lane is the location of this great restaurant that has worked really hard to make itself a favourite of students in Cork. With that in mind, you can really enjoy yourself here on a budget. Their “beer and balls” deal is absolutely delightful! You get a pint of beer and a hearty portion meatballs for only €10! Their burgers are great as well, with both regular and gourmet options, so there’s a bit of something for all budgets.
