Just Eat National Takeaway Award 2020 Winners Announced
The winners of the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards 2020 have been announced!
Over the past number of weeks, you have been voting for your favourite local restaurants in the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards 2020. With 77 restaurants across Ireland shortlisted across 28 delicious categories, the Just Eat National Takeaway Award nominees and ultimate winners have been decided by public vote over the past number weeks, and now...the winners are in! Drumroll please...
With three new awards introduced this year, Best Takeaway Dessert, Best Takeaway Cocktails and Community Hero, restaurants were recognised more than ever!
The Community Hero was one of three new categories this year won by Palmento, Cork with Apache Pizza, Mullingar, Burrito Loco, Letterkenny, Dera Restaurant, Parnell St and San Sab, Drumcondra; also shortlisted and recognised within the category.
Taking home the crown for the first time, Mario & Luigi Gelato, Clondalkin is the winner of the sweetest new category Best Takeaway Dessert Award, while Harry’s, Bohermore in Galway reigned supreme in the all-new Best Takeaway Cocktails category.
With the diversity of choice and range of tasty flavours now available, our Just Eat customers saw winners emerge from the four proud provinces of Ireland, with Box Burger, Bray winning Best Takeaway Leinster; Camile Thai, Stephen St, Sligo taking the top spot in the West as Best Takeaway Connaught; Loko, Ardkeen, Waterford voted Best Takeaway Munster and Burrito Loco, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal crowned Best Takeaway Ulster. Saba To Go, Rathmines took home the Best Takeaway Dublin category.
