The Just Eat National Takeaway Awards Winners 2018
Tuesday 16th October 2018: Just Eat, Ireland’s leading online food ordering and delivery service, hosted the fifth annual Just Eat National Takeaway Awards tonight to celebrate stand out leaders from the takeaway restaurant sector. Shortlisted representatives from all over Ireland joined Just Eat to applaud the best takeaway restaurants and dishes in the country, as voted for by customers, and to find out who would be crowned Just Eat ‘Best Takeaway Ireland’ 2018!
There were 22 categories this year with the new additions of Best Takeaway Vegetarian and Best Takeaway Middle Eastern, won by Umi Falafel, Dame Street and Zaytoon, Camden Street respectively.
The National Takeaway Awards took place in Number 22, Dublin, presented by popular presenter Cassie Stokes and singer/songwriter Jake Carter. As always, the diversity of choice all around Ireland’s takeaway sector saw winners emerge from every corner of the country with Firehouse Pizza, Ballymun taking home the spoils on the night. The pizza restaurant was named the Best Takeaway Ireland as well as Best Takeaway Dublin and Best Takeaway Pizza.
