We’re very excited that The JUST EAT Retreat will return to Electric Picnic for a third year as a destination for treats and eats aplenty! This year, we will continue to bring the JUST EAT online experience to life offline through our JUST EAT Waiter Service delivering a range of cuisine types, drinks and coffee to those relaxing in the Retreat. We’ll also add a number of pampering services in the form of a tanning tattoo artist, nail salon and barber service, with the aim of making the festival experience ever more enjoyable.

JUST EAT will this year bring the hugely popular JUST EAT Retreat to Electric Picnic for the third year, offering festival-goers a destination where they can relax, order food and drink to be delivered by the JUST EAT Waiters and enjoy some luxurious pampering from a range of services including barbers and beauticians.

Also on the menu this year is a series of “Tent Talks” at the JUST EAT Retreat, which will deliver 10 minute inspirational talks from a diverse range of contributors including Marissa Carter, founder of the Cocoa Brown brand and Tropical Popical owner Andrea Horan. Ensuring the festival experience is as convenient as possible, JUST EAT will this year introduce the JUST EAT Picnic Porters, a concierge service to help festival-goers deliver their kit easily from the carpark to the festival entrance.

JUST EAT is also using its prominent presence at the festival to help drive awareness of the issue of homelessness. Working with its charity partner, Peter McVerry Trust, one of the ‘Tent Talks’ will focus on this growing social issue. JUST EAT will also be tapping into the generosity of festival goers by looking for a voluntary contribution for the treats on offer at the JUST EAT Retreat with all funds raised going to Peter McVerry Trust.

Anne-Marie Connolly, Director of Fundraising at Peter McVerry Trust said: “The JUST EAT Retreat gives us a unique opportunity to highlight the role that we play in society helping vulnerable young people experiencing homelessness to a whole new group of people. We are delighted to work with JUST EAT and are really grateful to The Strypes, Le Galaxie and Word Up Collective for lending their support to this important initiative.”

“Every year, Electric Picnic attracts tens of thousands of young people and the opportunity to reach them with our message will add weight to what we are doing every day in tackling homelessness.”
