Relax with your favourite dish this Bank Holiday weekend!

It’s here! It’s finally here! The Bank Holiday weekend has arrived and we haven’t been this excited for a three day weekend since… well the last one. We’re going to enjoy this one even more as there isn’t any to look forward to in June (something we think needs to be reviewed).

There’s only one thing that makes having the day off better and that’s ordering your favourite dish to your door so you don’t have to lift a finger, maybe just a tap or two on the Just Eat app. But that’s it! Take a look at some of our favourite dishes online at the moment.

WOWBURGER
This isn’t a drill folks! WOWBURGER really is online and delivering to your door this long weekend. Your prayers have been answered (Please! Hold the applause, it’s not necessary!) The Wow Bacon Cheeseburger is the way to go this weekend. Two thin 100% Irish beef patties grilled fresh and served with two slices of American cheese in a bespoke burger bun. Throw on your favourite series you’ve been meaning to binge and curl up with your choice of pie. We’re particularly excited by the Irish Sausage, Black Pudding, Leek & Madeira Pie from The Pie Maker. You can get it with a seasonal leafy salad, chunky vegetable salad or mashed potatoes and gravy. There are also some sweet options to choose from too – we’ve been eyeing up the Chocolate Pecan Tart, sounds delish!

Aroma
It’s hard to beat a good Chinese dish on a chill weekend. Whether it’s getting some friends round for a movie night or just ordering your favourite dish for some me time. Aroma in Cork has some delish dishes to choose from that are sure to tantalise the tastebuds. The Seasonal Vegetable Curry is one of our favourites – served with boiled rice and a side order of Spring Rolls, what could be better! The long weekend done right.

Kyoto Sushi & Noodle
Sushi is always top of mind for us most days – but you can be sure it’s a definite order from us on the weekends. If you like mixing and matching your takeaway dishes than Kyoto is the place for you. Their Sashimi & Sushi Nigiri Mix platters are perfect for sharing with the family or just getting a nice mix of tastes for yourself. We like the Kyoto Platter, with 3 slices of salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, 2 eel nigiri, smoked salmon, and octopus nigiri. With 4 pieces of California roll & salmon avocado roll. Throw in some Miso SOup and that’s the perfect little feast.

GBK
Burgers are life. We don’t make the rules. Burgers and milkshakes from GBK are what dreams are made of, especially on the Bank Holiday weekend. One of our top picks is the Grilled Chicken Satay Burger, warm satay sauce, garlic mayo, rocket, paprika onions, pickled onions and relish. All in a fresh bun. Perfection!
