143V is an exclusively vegan restaurant that does everything from brunch, salad bowls, burgers, pancakes, dessert, and smoothies. And it all looks perfectly delicious to us! Some of their starters include bruschetta with juicy vine tomatoes, avo toast and a ginger and lime tofu house salad. Brunch options include overnight oats, the 143V Breakfast Bagel, and Sweet Pancakes. They also have a mouthwatering selection of Salad Bowls, with some cheeky vegan desserts with options like a Chocolate Brownie and a Tarte Au Citron. This is an exciting new spot for anyone who misses fish in their diet – Vish Shop has a plant-based Fish alternative made from Cassava and Wild Irish Seaweed, battered and cooked to perfection. Sounds pretty good to us! It’s a compact menu, but this is their speciality, and when you do something right why mess with it?! You can choose between variants of the Vish and Chips, the Original Vish Burger and Cauliflower Wings. All of the mains come with Dill Pickle Aioli, Tomato, Lettuce & triple cooked Chips, if this isn’t a perfect mid-week treat then what is?!
If you’re into your spice and looking for something with some Indian flair, then Bombay Pantry have one hell of a selection of vegan dishes that are bound to spice up your life. The Batata Vada is one of our favourite dishes, which is pretty understandable as it’s two potato dumplings flavoured with fresh lemon, ginger, and coriander, stuffed with cashew nuts and coated in gram flour. Sounds perfect to us! The Chana Masala is a perfect combination of spice with chickpeas cooked with tomatoes, mustard seeds, ground cashew nuts, and onions. We love a good burger, it cures all ailments – don’t question us, it’s science! You can get some awesome veggie and vegan options from Box Burger. You can also trade in your burger bun for salad if you’re not about that gluten life. A standout burger here is the Beetroot & Black Bean burger – this baby has a beetroot black bean patty, black quinoa seed coating, sriracha and pineapple salsa, lime-infused red onion, lettuce, guacamole, ketchup.
