Restaurant reviewed : New Magic Wok (Whitehall)
Method of ordering : JUSTEAT iPhone app
By Calvin O’Beirne
Using the Just-Eat iPhone app is actually my preferred method of ordering.
Unlike some other apps, the JUST EAT app brings the clear, straightforward layout of its website to the iPhone without making it seem shoddy or inferior to the website. One of my favourite things about ordering via the app is that you don’t feel like you’re using a mobile version of an actual site, the app looks, feels and operates like an app should. Once the app is opened, there aren’t multiple, misleading choices of what to do next. You simply type in your area and a full list of takeaways in the area, along with their opening times and star ratings are available right at your finger tips. There’s also the option to refine your search right down to the specific type of cuisine you’re looking for, plus the option to search the takeaways by name – Now onto the really good part, the food!
The takeaway I ordered from was one of my personal favourites I’ve been ordering from for over a year, New Magic Wok in Whitehall. The simplicity of the app and the wide variety of food items available from New Magic Wok make the ordering process almost as delicious as their food. Whether you’re choosing to pay by card, cash or JUST EAT voucher, the app looks and feels secure so you know you’re getting value for your money, along with peace of mind. New Magic Wok under promise and certainly over deliver. I’ll usually get an estimated delivery time of over 50 minutes, but have yet to wait over 20 minutes for my delivery, even during the busy times of a Friday and Saturday evening. The delivery person has always been pleasant and well-presented. The food is delicious and always piping hot, which is just one of the many reasons that despite having tried many other take-aways over the years, New Magic Wok will always take the cake.
Thanks Calvin for your review!
