Elephant & Castle, named after the London hub, opened in New York City in 1973. It was soon a favourite among New Yorkers and visitors alike, with a menu whose dishes soon appeared throughout lower Manhattan restaurants – imitation is the best form of flattery after all! It led us to adopt a motto at the time of “Copied by many, excelled by none”.

Elephant & Castle, as an Irish brand, has been a foodie monument in Temple Bar for the past 30 years. We now have four amazing locations under our wing – Temple Bar, Rathmines, Monkstown and most recently Beacon South Quarter in October 2019.

The menu features fluffy omelettes, buttermilk pancakes, caesar salads, saucy ribs and juicy burgers. Don’t forget, those crispy spicy wings, renowned as some of the best in Ireland and consistently hitting the top of everyone’s list when it comes to getting your wing fix.
